Southwest Petroleum University awarded the first Beiken Energy Outstanding Student Scholarship

On the afternoon of May 30, Southwest Petroleum University 2022-2023 academic year Scholarship Award Ceremony and "The Power of Example" presentation were held in Chengdu Campus of Southwest Petroleum University. Nearly 400 students from Southwest Petroleum University, school leaders, department leaders and student representatives attended the award ceremony. Yuanjun Li, Vice president of Beiken Energy, was invited to attend and award the student representatives who won the Beiken Outstanding Student Scholarship.

At the award ceremony, the school gave a grand commendation to the outstanding student representatives who won the national financial scholarship and social donation scholarship. This is not only a recognition of their academic achievements, but also a recognition of their hard work.

At the following "The Power of Role Models" presentation, six outstanding student representatives shared their experiences and insights in the learning process. With their own personal experience, they encouraged students to study hard, pursue excellence, and contribute their own strength to the country's energy cause.

Vice President Yuanjun Li, on behalf of the company, presented certificates to 12 student representatives who received the first batch of Beiken Outstanding Student Scholarships. It is reported that a total of 20 outstanding students from four colleges, including the School of Oil and Gas Engineering and the School of Earth Science and Technology, won the Beiken Outstanding Student Scholarship, and each received a bonus of 10,000 yuan.

In September 2023,  Beiken donated 1.5 million yuan to Southwest Petroleum University to set up the Beiken Outstanding Student scholarship and open the "Southwest Petroleum University-Beiken Forum". The scholarship is designed to reward sophomore and above full-time undergraduate students with excellent academic performance. Eligible students can receive an award of 10,000 yuan. This move not only provides more help for the outstanding students of Southwest Petroleum University, but also reflects the importance and support of Bacon Energy to China's energy education.
