Xiaohua Zhu, vice president of Southwest Petroleum University, visited Beiken to carry out cooperation and exchanges

On May 26, Xiaohua Zhu , member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Southwest Petroleum University, led relevant scientific research teams to visit Beiken to carry out cooperation and exchanges.  Dong Chen, Chairman and CEO of Beiken, and  Zhongjun Wang, director, Vice president and general manager of Chengdu Company, participated in the discussion.

Dong  Chen  extended a warm welcome to President Zhu and his delegation to visit Beiken for cooperation and exchange. He said that the Sichuan-Chongqing region is an important strategic region for the development of Beiken, and science and technology research and development is playing an increasingly important role in promoting the company's business development. Beiken is willing to establish a long-term and in-depth comprehensive cooperative relationship with Southwest Petroleum University in the fields of technology research and development, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, personnel training and other fields. It is hoped that the two sides can put forward more realistic needs and display relevant scientific research achievements in the process of cooperation and exchange, so that the two sides can find a meeting point of cooperation as soon as possible and lay a solid foundation for the next in-depth cooperation between the university and enterprise.

Vice President  Xiaohua Zhu made a brief introduction to the situation of Southwest Petroleum University and the scientific research team. He said that Southwest Petroleum University ranks in the forefront of Sichuan Province in terms of scientific research achievements, scientific research funds and scientific research capabilities, and the school's scientific research characteristics are close to the scene and solve problems for the scene. Southwest Petroleum University is also willing to cooperate with Beiken in the fields of promoting the upgrading of existing business technology, personnel training, and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, promoting the implementation of relevant scientific research achievements in field application, and contributing to the development of the industry.

After nearly three hours of in-depth exchanges, the two sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention on the next step of cooperation. The two sides agreed to carry out further in-depth thematic discussions on potential cooperation projects, explore possible ways of cooperation, and work together to solve difficult problems in the development of oil and gas resources and contribute to the development of the industry.
