On July 15, a delegation led by Han Min, Member of the Standing Committee of the Karamay Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, along with representatives from the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, conducted an inspection tour at Beiken Energy. Li Yuanjun, Vice President of Beiken Energy, and Jiang Li, Party Secretary and Chairperson of the Trade Union, warmly received the officials and delivered a dedicated report on the company's recent development progress.
During the symposium, Li Yuanjun elaborated on Beiken Energy's development strategy and achievements. He emphasized the company's deep roots in Karamay and adherence to the "local consolidation with external expansion" strategy. While achieving substantive breakthroughs in upstream oil and gas operations, shale gas and coalbed methane development, integrated energy services, and new coal chemical sectors, Beiken has actively responded to China's "Dual Carbon" strategy. The company is strategically expanding into renewable energy and digitalization businesses, continuously broadening its operational scope. These initiatives not only enhance Beiken's core competitiveness but also contribute to the green transition of the energy industry.

Vice Mayor Han Min commended Beiken Energy's significant progress in business diversification and geographical expansion. Noting Beiken's position as Karamay's leading local energy service enterprise, he urged the company to leverage its industry leadership to facilitate more local private firms in "going global." This approach would foster synergistic industrial chain development and enhance the overall competitiveness of Karamay's energy sector.
Han Min announced that the 7th China (Karamay) International Petroleum, Natural Gas and Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition will be held from August 13 to 15. As a pivotal platform for domestic petroleum industry exchange and a showcase for Karamay's energy sector, he encouraged Beiken to actively invite domestic and international clients to visit Karamay, thereby expanding opportunities for regional energy industry cooperation.
Highlights from Previous Exhibitions
Han Min emphasized that the Junggar Basin development is entering a vigorous growth phase with substantial potential. He urged Beiken to increase investment in Xinjiang, capitalize on its competitive advantages, and inject new momentum into Xinjiang Oilfield's production capacity enhancement and Karamay's local economic development.
As the first locally cultivated private enterprise listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Main Board, Beiken Energy will continue deepening its presence across Xinjiang's energy value chain. Aligning with policy directives and market demands, the company will advance energy transition through technological innovation, maintain synchronized development with Karamay, and jointly promote high-quality growth in the regional energy industry and socio-economic landscape.
