According to the practice of previous years, the well team in Xinjiang generally enters the winter break in mid-November every year, but in order to promote the CBM storage increase and production work of Xinjiang Yaxin CBM Group, under the scientific guidance of Xinjiang Yaxin CBM Group, Beiken Energy overcame many difficulties and promoted the drilling and completion of the last two CBM Wells in the freezing snow of minus 30 degrees.

"Although the brothers wear cotton clothes and trousers, it is difficult to resist the biting wind in the low temperature, and frost will soon form on the neck." 30020 team captain Xu Jianye said. Not only the drilling team, but also Beiken Energy's orienting and cementing teams are also not afraid of the cold to complete each construction task safely and efficiently.
The low temperature brings great challenges to the engineering construction of drilling. Mud and gas roads are easily frozen at minus 20 or 30 degrees. In order to prevent the equipment from freezing, the drilling team needed to heat the associated line heating belt 24 hours a day, and run the drilling mud system 24 hours a day.
The same is true for cementing operations. The safety of cementing vehicle, the icing of cementing pipeline and the difficulty of starting cementing equipment in cold weather not only increase the difficulty of operation, but also greatly increase the operation risk.

Personnel safety is an even bigger challenge. "The risk of personnel slipping during the operation is also particularly large, and we have always been careful to do a good job of anti-freezing equipment and personnel." Jia Jianke, captain of 40006 team, who is working on well FK25-6L in Block 9 of Fukang Mining area, said.

Since this year, the CBM development of Xinjiang Yaxin CBM Group has entered the stage of large-scale development. According to Xinjiang News broadcast on December 15, Xinjiang Yaxin CBM Group's CBM production and sales exceeded 83 million cubic meters, completing the annual production and sales task ahead of schedule, making an important contribution to Xinjiang's clean energy supply.

According to statistics, since 2023, Beiken Energy has accumulated 22 directional Wells and horizontal Wells of Xinjiang Yaxin CBM Group, and all of them have been successfully crossed, with a cumulative penetration of 41,000 meters. At the same time, in August this year, under the leadership of Xinjiang Yaxin CBM Group, the two sides worked closely to successfully complete the operation task of Xinjiang's largest CBM fracturing project.

In addition to the large-scale development of CBM, Xinjiang CBM proved reserves also ushered in good news.
Recently, the 6.1 billion cubic meters CBM proved reserves report submitted by Xinjiang Yaxin CBM Group in Fukang CBM field was reviewed and filed by the Ministry of Natural Resources, and Xinjiang CBM reserves filing achieved a breakthrough of zero.
With the continuous growth of proven reserves, it is believed that in 2024, Xinjiang Yaxin CBM Group will continue to increase the large-scale development of CBM as a clean energy.
