On March 31, 2023, the establishment ceremony of Xinjiang Kunlun Petroleum Group Co., LTD. (referred to as Kunlun Group), which was mainly initiated by Beiken Energy, was held in the technological innovation incubation base of Karamay High-tech Zone. As well as petrochina Tarim oilfield branch, Tuha Oilfield Branch, Western drilling company, Sinopec Northwest Oil Bureau, New Spring Company, Xinjiang energy and other units in charge and enterprise representatives more than 100 people attended the listing ceremony, the listing ceremony by Karamay Municipal Committee Standing Committee Yu Xingguo presided over.
Kunlun Group completed industrial and commercial registration on March 17, 2023, with a registered capital of 1 billion yuan, which was jointly funded by Beiken Energy as the main initiator and eight enterprises including Karamay City Investment, a state-owned enterprise in Karamay City. Ms. Jiang Li, director of Beiken Energy and secretary of the Board of Directors, was elected chairman of Kunlun Group.

In her speech, Jiang Li, chairman of Kunlun Group, expressed her sincere thanks to the leaders at all levels of the autonomous region, Karamay City and Baisoda Tan District (Karamay High-tech Zone) for their strong support to the establishment of the company.
